Senior Trade Execution Coordinator

Job summary

The role involves overseeing the accurate and timely execution of agricultural commodity contracts, focusing on international documentation and compliance. The position is based in Aarhus, London, Kansas City, or Philadelphia and requires strong collaboration skills in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or trade documentation.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Agribusiness.
• Proficient in managing international documentation and payment instruments, including letters of credit.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with stakeholders.
• Proven ability to adapt and perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with GAFTA is a plus, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate international trade execution and export documentation for grains, oilseeds, and feedstuff.
• Handle letters of credit, payment instruments, and shipment-related invoices.
• Manage customer communication to ensure smooth and timely shipments.
• Support origin logistics and capture knowledge on import/customs regulations.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and digitalization in trade execution.
• Support and train team members while sharing knowledge across functions.
• Maintain accurate P/L records and ensure compliance with contracts and governance policies.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with contract terms during export trade execution.

Skills

• Strong organizational and detail-oriented approach.
• High level of accountability and efficiency in handling responsibilities.

Education

• Relevant educational background in logistics, trade, or a related field is preferred.

Tools

• Familiarity with trade execution software and documentation tools is advantageous.
