Senior Supply Planning Manager (Food Industry, Aarhus)

Job summary

This role involves leading and developing supply planning in a global, fast-paced environment, focusing on enhancing end-to-end supply planning capabilities and driving planning excellence across a manufacturing network.

Qualifications

• Over 7 years of experience in Supply Planning, S&OP/S&OE, Supply Chain, or Integrated Planning within a large global organization.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes across operational, tactical, and strategic levels.
• Proven experience in team leadership and cross-functional alignment.
• Advanced knowledge of planning processes and systems, particularly SAP IBP and analytics.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills across organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of around eight supply planning specialists, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Manage global supply planning processes across various planning horizons to ensure stable execution.
• Implement and optimize SAP IBP and related planning tools.
• Develop planning processes for joint ventures and ensure integration of new factories.
• Proactively identify and manage risks and demand-supply imbalances, driving decisions on priorities.
• Enhance transparency through KPIs and performance reporting to improve service and operational efficiency.
