Senior Supply Chain Manager (Energy, Remote)

Job summary

This role involves leading procurement, contracting, logistics, and supply chain functions for a major sustainable energy project, ensuring timely and compliant delivery of goods and services. The Senior Supply Chain Manager will co-create a supply chain strategy aligned with project requirements and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in supply chain or procurement management on major EPCM/EPC projects within the energy, oil & gas, or renewables sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen and contract negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with EU and Danish procurement standards and sustainability practices.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Project Procurement and Contracting Plan, including materials, equipment, and third-party services.
• Prepare RFQ packages, evaluate bids, and make award recommendations.
• Manage vendor qualifications and maintain an approved vendor list.
• Oversee all supply chain functions, ensuring alignment with engineering and construction activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in sourcing and logistics efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements, including sustainability obligations.
• Provide updates on procurement status and vendor performance.
• Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary supply chain team.
• Interface with engineering, construction, and finance for supply chain integration.
