Senior Software Engineer (On-site, Denmark)

Job summary

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing software applications that support the Subsea Production Systems department. You will collaborate closely with end-users throughout the product development process and lead projects within the team and across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Python programming.
• Proficient in working with SQL databases.
• Familiarity with GitHub and Copilot.
• Experience in agile environments and product development.
• Several years of experience in software development.

Responsibilities

• Develop in-house applications for the Subsea Production Systems segment.
• Work on reducing complexity in existing and future code and architecture.
• Participate in technology projects and contribute to team efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with end-users to ensure effective solutions.
• Engage in AI applications and side projects as needed.

Skills

• Experience with FastAPI, Pydantic models, and Dataclasses.
• Knowledge of Numpy/Scipy packages.
• Bonus: Familiarity with machine learning libraries like scikit-learn.
• Understanding of containerization and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in software engineering or related field.
