Senior Software Engineer (Fintech)

Job summary

The role involves contributing to the development of enterprise products within the Investment Operations Product Area, focusing on enhancing efficiency for operations users in financial institutions. The position requires collaboration with international colleagues and offers opportunities to deepen expertise in applied finance and modern software engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of professional experience with C# (.NET or .NET Framework) and Angular.
• Extensive experience in designing and developing enterprise applications in .NET / C# and working knowledge of Angular.
• Strong background in automation frameworks and CI/CD processes.
• Solid understanding of manual testing techniques and QA best practices.
• Familiarity with Cloud and On-Prem infrastructures.
• Proficient in CI/CD tools (Git, TeamCity, Azure DevOps) and Microsoft Azure.
• Good command of English (Upper-Intermediate or higher).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain new features across both front-end and back-end.
• Take technical ownership of feature delivery, ensuring high quality, scalability, and performance.
• Drive an automation-first approach by designing and maintaining E2E, API, and integration tests.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Technical Leads during analysis, refinement, and development.
• Mentor less experienced engineers through pair programming and code reviews.
• Engage in architectural discussions and technical decision-making.

Skills

• Proficient in software architecture and design patterns, with experience in Domain-Driven Design.
• Familiarity with XP practices (TDD, pair programming, CI).
• Experience with relational databases (SQL).

Tools

• Microsoft Azure and CI/CD tools (Git, TeamCity, Azure DevOps).
