Senior Software Engineer (Copenhagen)

Job summary

The role involves providing technical leadership in the development of the Addressability component of a marketing platform. The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with various teams to create a roadmap for a multichannel marketing solution that integrates data across digital touchpoints.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of software engineering experience.
• An undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field from an English-instructed university is strongly desired.
• 2+ years of experience with Scala or Java.
• Proficient in both relational and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Build, refine, tune, and maintain real-time infrastructure.
• Design, develop, and maintain services for data collection and real-time processing.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to create data products.
• Work with the DevOps team to scale and optimize infrastructure.
• Participate in architecture discussions and take ownership of new projects.
• Be available for on-call rotation to address issues as they arise.

Skills

• Experience with container-based solutions is a plus.
• Familiarity with libraries such as ZIO, Akka, and Play Framework is advantageous.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS) at scale and Terraform.
• Strong understanding of distributed data processing and low-latency solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Education

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
