Senior Software Engineer (Cloud & DevOps, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves backend development and DevOps practices to enhance a central platform capability used by customer-facing products. The focus is on building secure and reliable cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure, emphasizing authentication, authorization, and enterprise user management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience, with at least 3 years in C#/.NET backend development in a cloud environment.
• At least 3 years of hands-on DevOps/SRE experience, ideally in a combined software development and operations role.
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals, including design, performance, security, and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services in the Account domain, ensuring end-to-end feature delivery.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for DevOps topics, driving improvements in CI/CD, AKS/Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and platform stability.
• Collaborate with platform and product teams to align on Azure standards and best practices.

Skills

• Experience with API design, automated testing, and code reviews.
• Familiarity with containerized workloads and Kubernetes, particularly Azure Kubernetes Service.
• Understanding of core Azure concepts, including networking, compute, storage, identity, and databases.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools in Azure, such as Azure Monitor and Application Insights.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in software engineering or a related field.

Tools

• Proficiency in C#/.NET, Azure services, CI/CD tools, and Kubernetes.
