Senior Software Engineer

Job summary

This role focuses on backend engineering to enhance a new agentic platform and improve existing services. The position involves building scalable backend services, migrating from legacy systems, and ensuring high performance and reliability of current applications.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C# and .NET (ideally .NET 10+), with experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Over 5 years of software engineering experience, particularly in web applications, with knowledge of both microservice and monolith architectures.
• Experience in modernizing live, business-critical systems incrementally.
• Strong collaboration skills, with a focus on team success and mentorship.
• Familiarity with AI tools in software development.
• DevOps skills, including cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
• Commitment to quality through unit and integration testing.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with experience in agile team environments.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Lead the migration from legacy systems to modern services.
• Enhance the reliability and performance of existing backend services.
• Collaborate on building functionality for the new agentic platform.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor team members to improve overall engineering practices.

Education

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
