Senior Software Engineer

Job summary

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development of a new event management system that supports global partners in organizing LEGO League events, impacting communities of students, coaches, and volunteers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Experience in software development, particularly with event management systems or similar applications.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and frameworks such as React.
• Familiarity with designing, implementing, and integrating APIs using REST and GraphQL.
• Knowledge of Test Driven Development practices.
• Experience with AI tools and integrating AI capabilities into products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the event management system for LEGO League.
• Collaborate with global partners to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Write and optimize clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Work closely with Product, Design, and engineering teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Develop interactive and user-friendly web interfaces.
• Integrate user interfaces with server architectures and third-party services.
• Model accountability and proactively address challenges to ensure successful project delivery.
