Qualifications

• Over 5 years of software development experience, particularly in complex systems or industrial settings.
• Proficient in Python and Azure, with strong experience in cloud-based infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD practices and Git workflows.
• Experience in designing system integrations and APIs.
• Security-focused approach to development and system design.
• Proven ability to establish engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Own the SCADA platform and its data infrastructure, addressing security and scalability issues.
• Decompose monolithic components into microservices and reduce reliance on external vendors.
• Champion engineering best practices, including code reviews and testing protocols.
• Design and maintain Azure-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate on automation and AI initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities in the platform.

Skills

• Experience with SCADA systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with industrial environments and cybersecurity frameworks like NIS2.
• Knowledge of Azure IoT and real-time data processing.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and LLM application development.

Education

• Relevant certifications in Microsoft, AWS, or GCP are advantageous.
