Senior Software Developer - Cloud

Job summary

An experienced Senior Software Developer is sought to join a Cloud Storage team focused on building services for dental applications. The role involves backend development, SRE, and DevOps practices to support critical platform capabilities, with a significant data scale including 3TB ingested daily and 1.9 petabytes stored globally.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in C#/.NET backend development within a cloud environment.
• Professional experience in SQL, with a preference for Postgres.
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals, including API design, automated testing, and maintainability.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on DevOps/SRE experience, ideally in a combined software development and operations role.
• Strong understanding of core Azure concepts and experience with monitoring/observability tools.
• A strong ownership mindset focused on automation, reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with containerized workloads.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services within the Cloud Storage domain.
• Deliver features end-to-end, from development and testing to deployment readiness.
• Collaborate with platform and product teams to align on Azure standards and best practices.
• Maintain dashboards and manage multi-region deployment pipelines.

Skills

• Proficiency in C#/.NET and SQL.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code and monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of PKI infrastructure and certificate chains is a plus.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in software development.

Tools

• Microsoft Azure, SQL databases, OpenTelemetry, and containerization technologies.
