Senior Security Engineer (Incident Response, Remote)

Job summary

The Incident Response team is dedicated to addressing security threats and incidents to safeguard customer and enterprise data efficiently. As a Senior Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in conducting security analysis, responding to alerts, and enhancing automation capabilities within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of experience in Incident Response, or a Master's Degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Strong background in cloud security, particularly in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM and agentic capabilities, including effective prompting and system operation in a security context.
• Broad expertise in security topics and core Incident Response skills such as DFIR, Reverse Engineering, and Network Security.
• Experience with Enterprise Security and SaaS applications.
• Knowledge of SIEM and SOAR tools.
• Proficient in building Incident Response tools and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Respond to security incidents as part of a 24x7 operations team.
• Triage security events and alerts for effective containment.
• Conduct investigations and forensics to assess the impact of security events.
• Develop automations to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
• Communicate technical decisions through documentation and presentations, and mentor junior team members.

Education
