Senior Security Architect

Job summary

This role involves leading the cybersecurity architecture for a maritime product portfolio, ensuring robust security measures are integrated throughout the product lifecycle. The Senior Security Architect will define security standards, develop long-term security roadmaps, and act as the primary authority on product security across various development teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Extensive experience in security architecture within operational technology (OT) and industrial automation sectors, such as maritime or energy
• Strong knowledge of OT security standards and familiarity with IT-related standards

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the product security architecture for OT systems
• Develop long-term security capability roadmaps aligned with product strategy
• Interpret security standards into actionable requirements for development teams
• Oversee product performance and drive continuous security improvements
• Evaluate new commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products for integration
• Act as the primary security authority for all product lines, guiding teams through cybersecurity requirements

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Proficient in security products such as SIEM, AV, EDR, firewalls, and IDS
• Understanding of IT/OT networks, operating systems, and database technologies

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field

• Familiarity with security tools including SIEM, AV, EDR, and ML-based detection systems
