Senior Red Team Consultant

Job summary

This role involves providing cybersecurity consulting services, focusing on offensive security assessments and advising clients on technical and process-based controls across various environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in assessing and developing cybersecurity solutions across multiple security domains.
• 5 years of experience in offensive security.
• Proficiency in four or more areas such as network protocols, threat intelligence analysis, system and network administration, project management, application development, incident response processes, source code review, or reverse engineering.
• Experience with operating system security, particularly in Linux or other systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct offensive technical cybersecurity engagements of diverse nature.
• Interface with clients to address concerns, issues, or escalations.
• Track and resolve any issues impacting engagements and their value to clients.
• Advise clients on security best practices for remediating identified issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance capabilities and deliver additional value to clients.

Skills

• Strong communication, collaboration, and public speaking skills.
• Ability to convey technical details through reports and presentations to both technical and executive audiences.

Education

• Relevant certifications in offensive security such as OSCE, OSEP, OSEE, OSCP, CISSP, CISA, or pertinent SANS courses are preferred.

Tools

• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C#, C/C++, Rust, Nim, or similar for security tool creation.
