Job summary

The role involves managing complex, large-scale electrical projects within the utility sector, focusing on critical infrastructure and high voltage (HV) projects. Responsibilities include overseeing project timelines, quality, and financial aspects, guiding technical designs, ensuring compliance with quality assurance procedures, and fostering client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in managing critical infrastructure, HV Cables, HV Substations, Offshore Wind, or Datacentre projects.
• Significant project management experience in a similar role.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills for effective communication and conflict resolution.
• Advanced knowledge of project development stages including feasibility, conceptual design, and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Manage time, quality, and financial aspects of projects to meet deadlines and success criteria.
• Guide and review engineering designs, ensuring adherence to engineering principles.
• Implement QA/QC procedures and understand relevant codes and standards in power systems.
• Host design meetings and coordinate work across various engineering disciplines.
• Build and maintain client relationships, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

Education

• Electrical engineering degree (B.Eng., BS, or MS).
