Senior Product Manager (Remote)

Job summary

This role focuses on shaping the future of reporting and insights, enabling customers and internal teams to address critical workforce, payroll, finance, and compliance questions through well-designed reporting experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Manager with a strong emphasis on reporting, analytics, data platforms, or insights products.
• Proficiency in Cursor and/or Claude Code, capable of building and debugging functional code and prototypes.
• Strong data literacy, comfortable with data models, schemas, and report generation; able to read/write SQL.
• Deep empathy for customers and understanding of their workflows.
• Strong stakeholder management skills to align cross-functional teams.
• Passion for creating user-friendly experiences in complex data environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Business-level proficiency in English.
• Experience in HR Tech, payroll, finance, compliance, or B2B SaaS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision and roadmap for a comprehensive reporting system, including in-app report building and AI experiences.
• Understand and prioritize customer reporting needs across various personas.
• Own payroll-grade reporting capabilities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Develop intelligent insights experiences using AI and anomaly detection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable reporting solutions.
• Establish KPIs to measure product impact and continuously improve based on feedback.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.

Tools

• Familiarity with data analytics tools and reporting software is beneficial.
