Job summary

The role involves designing end-to-end product features for an AI-powered legal database, focusing on user-centric design and rapid prototyping. You will work closely with legal professionals to understand their workflows and implement designs that enhance their efficiency.

Qualifications

• A portfolio showcasing shipped product work, particularly in AI-driven applications.
• Proficiency in writing production-quality frontend code, especially in React.
• A systems-first design approach, prioritizing the design system before application.
• Experience with AI tools, particularly Claude Code, integrated into your workflow.
• Strong user research skills, with a preference for direct engagement with users over assumptions.
• Ability to prioritize effectively and defend design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design product features from concept to micro-interaction, ensuring usability and trust.
• Prototype using AI tools to streamline the design process.
• Implement designs in code when necessary, including creating production-ready components.
• Own and develop a design system applicable across various user interfaces and content types.
• Regularly engage with legal professionals to gather insights and improve product offerings.
• Make informed decisions on feature prioritization and communicate rationale clearly.
