Job summary

An experienced Senior Procurement Project Manager is needed to lead supplier readiness and procurement excellence in complex global product development programs. This role involves strategic collaboration across product innovation, supply chain strategy, and senior management decision-making to ensure successful product launches.

Qualifications

  • Over 5 years of experience in procurement or project management, ideally in medical devices or regulated industries.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration in international settings.
  • Strong understanding of product development, supplier qualification, sourcing strategies, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in stakeholder management.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, ensuring collaboration across functions.
  • Lead procurement activities within global product development programs.
  • Drive supplier readiness focusing on cost, capacity, capability, and delivery.
  • Establish and manage procurement project plans, risks, milestones, and governance.
  • Align with Strategic Procurement on category strategies and long-term technology direction.
  • Collaborate with Project Purchasing to ensure component maturity and availability.
  • Resolve supply-related risks and program challenges through cross-functional teamwork.
  • Engage suppliers early to enhance design and manufacturability.

Skills

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to integrate procurement priorities into product programs.
  • In-depth knowledge of cost drivers, BOM structures, and capacity constraints.
  • Ability to influence senior management and drive alignment on procurement topics.

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields such as Procurement, Supply Chain, or Engineering.

Tools

  • Familiarity with project management tools and procurement software is advantageous.
