Job summary

The role of Senior Legal Counsel involves providing strategic legal support within the Group Legal function, focusing on corporate, investment, and stakeholder management in the real estate sector. The position is based in Copenhagen and requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and governance while supporting business operations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in law (Swedish, Danish, or Norwegian law).
• At least 5 years of experience in a reputable law firm or relevant in-house roles.
• Strong background in Corporate Law, M&A, and joint ventures; experience in investment, finance, governance, and compliance is a plus.
• Ability to work strategically and maintain high professional integrity.
• Excellent collaborative and pedagogical skills to build trust across management levels.
• Proficient in English communication, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted legal and business advisor to management on legal, governance, and compliance matters.
• Maintain knowledge of the contractual framework and business model to support strategic goals.
• Ensure solid governance and compliance to maintain trust from external stakeholders.
• Provide strategic legal structuring to facilitate growth and reduce operational risks.
• Manage transactional work, including due diligence and negotiation of transaction documents.
• Support investor relations by preparing and reviewing presentation materials.
• Implement the company’s policy framework and internal governance documents.
