Job summary

An experienced Senior Hardware Engineer is sought to design and develop innovative mixed-signal hardware solutions for professionals in extreme environments. This role involves working on USB-based hardware and analog electronic design, contributing to all phases of hardware development, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in electronics engineering or hardware development.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of USB standards, USB hubs, DSPs, and MCU design.
  • Familiarity with Python or C++ programming.
  • Understanding of EMC/EMI compliance and circuit simulations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, test, and refine digital and analog hardware electronics.
  • Ensure reliable performance and compliance with industry standards.
  • Balance long-term projects with ad hoc support for production testing and system integration.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, software, and prototyping teams to enhance DFM and DFA processes.
  • Develop documentation and specifications for software development and manufacturing.
  • Create schematics and work on signal integrity and power management.
  • Develop, test, debug, and verify prototypes, including EMC conformance.
  • Integrate designs while overcoming mechanical constraints.

Skills

  • Strong collaboration skills to support colleagues and enhance creative efforts.
  • Proficiency in circuit simulations and hardware design principles.

Tools

  • Experience with design software for schematic creation and circuit simulation.
