Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Remote)

Job summary

This role involves building and enhancing modern cloud-native applications that support large-scale data processing and critical business services. You will engage in the full software development lifecycle, focusing on both backend and frontend development to create reliable, high-performance solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in developing cloud-native applications using modern JavaScript technologies, microservices, and AWS infrastructure.
• Proven expertise in full stack development with Node.js and modern JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Proficient in frontend development using React and contemporary UI frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with microservices and serverless architectures.
• Advanced knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, SNS, SQS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, RDS, and DynamoDB.
• Experience in creating automated testing frameworks and quality assurance processes.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and computer science fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code solutions like AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience in Agile Scrum environments with a collaborative mindset.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant AWS or professional cloud certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain complex full stack web applications.
• Build scalable backend services using Node.js and develop responsive user interfaces with React.
• Develop serverless applications leveraging AWS services.
• Create technical designs, write clean production code, and prepare documentation.
• Develop automated test suites and contribute to software quality assurance.
• Collaborate with architects, UX teams, and other engineering teams to deliver solutions.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Contribute to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support Agile development processes and knowledge sharing.
