Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Copenhagen)

Job summary

The role involves contributing to the Voyage Optimisation team, focusing on enhancing customer-facing voyage planning solutions. The engineer will work closely with product managers and designers to ensure that features effectively address customer needs and drive business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in building and maintaining production systems across the full stack.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with a focus on design, data modeling, testing, and debugging.
• Proven experience in taking features from concept to production, with a track record of iterating based on customer feedback.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and frontend applications related to voyage planning.
• Collaborate with product management and design teams to scope and prioritize engineering tasks.
• Ensure that solutions effectively resolve customer issues and validate outcomes post-deployment.
• Contribute to engineering standards through code reviews and testing practices.

Skills

• Proficiency in backend technologies such as Go and Python.
• Experience with frontend frameworks like React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL databases and cloud technologies including AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.

Education

• Relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Tools

• Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD processes and Terraform for infrastructure management.
