Job summary

This position serves as a technical accounting expert and financial controller, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial operations within a rapidly growing tech company. The role involves a blend of daily financial management and addressing complex accounting issues.

Qualifications

• Approximately 7 years of professional experience in finance.
• Ideally, 5 years in External Audit followed by 2 years as a Financial Controller or similar role in a corporate setting.
• Deep understanding of accounting standards with experience in writing technical memos and manuals.
• Strong communication skills to bridge technical accounting and business operations.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality in work.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Address complex accounting issues and provide clarity as the technical expert.
• Develop and maintain an internal accounting manual, documenting positions on key financial matters.
• Lead communication with external auditors, preparing audit files and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Keep accounting practices updated with current standards and regulations.
