Job summary

The role involves leading the Decision Intelligence team, responsible for real-time fraud, AML, and risk decisioning systems. The Senior Engineering Manager will oversee the delivery and quality of the fraud and risk decisioning platform while fostering a high-performing engineering culture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Senior Engineering Manager with a focus on team growth and delivery health.
• Domain expertise in fraud, risk, or financial crime decisioning, with an understanding of latency budgets and regulatory challenges.
• Technical proficiency in data pipelines, model-driven decisioning, and modern fraud infrastructure.
• Strong judgment on build-vs-buy decisions for regulated systems.
• Passion for people management and coaching, promoting merit-based advancement.
• High proficiency with AI-enhanced development tools and a commitment to AI fluency.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction and delivery of the fraud and risk decisioning platform.
• Set the vision for fraud detection and prevention capabilities.
• Build and manage a focused, high-performing engineering team.
• Drive AI-native practices and ensure quality in AI-assisted work.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, and Security teams to maintain governance standards.
• Shape the organization by expanding the Decision Intelligence team and defining new roles.
