Senior Engineer (On-site, Billund)

Job summary

This role involves developing AI tools for designers in a new product team, focusing on creating concept tooling. The position is based in Billund, Denmark, and does not offer relocation support.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with TypeScript and React, with a willingness to work across the technology stack.
• Proficiency in C# or a readiness to enhance backend engineering skills.
• Strong English communication skills, with an understanding of user needs across various disciplines.
• Interest in structured GenAI workflows and development tasks.

Responsibilities

Nice to Have

• Develop full-stack features utilizing React, TypeScript, C#, and AWS services for concept workflows.
• Create integrations that secure confidential product information within LEGO systems.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate requirements into effective software solutions.
• Ensure the delivery of maintainable services and well-architected interfaces without unnecessary complexity.
• Facilitate user feedback loops to ensure designers feel engaged and valued in the product development process.
• Experience with integrating LLM APIs such as OpenAI or similar providers.

Education

• Relevant experience or education in software engineering or a related field is preferred.
