About the role

Job summary

As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the systems that extract go-to-market data from various third-party platforms and transform it into actionable insights. This role requires independent decision-making and a focus on customer outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a backend engineer, preferably with Go, or a strong background in building complex data pipelines in another programming language.
  • Familiarity with integrating third-party systems and working with REST APIs, including handling rate limits, pagination, and data inconsistencies.
  • Strong SQL skills; experience with BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift is advantageous.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects, make decisions independently, and be accountable for results.
  • Curiosity about the B2B go-to-market landscape and the challenges of connecting data to revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Manage B2B integrations, including design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines from various platforms.
  • Make architectural and tooling decisions and assess their impact in production.
  • Measure success through customer outcomes, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to identify and resolve issues.
  • Enhance and maintain agentic tooling for system development and operation.
  • Improve existing systems by addressing inefficiencies and fragilities.
  • Work with technologies such as Go, SQL, Google Cloud Platform, Apache Beam, Cloud Run, Kubernetes, and BigQuery.

Skills

  • Strong backend engineering skills, particularly in Go.
  • Experience with data integration and API management.
  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data warehousing solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Curiosity about applying coding agents in production systems.

Education

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in software engineering or a related field.

  • Go, SQL, Google Cloud Platform, Apache Beam, Cloud Run, Kubernetes, Temporal, Pub/Sub, BigQuery.
