Senior DevOps Engineer (E-commerce, Aarhus)

Job summary

An experienced Senior DevOps Engineer is needed to enhance the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of an AI-powered merchandising platform. This role involves taking ownership of CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and observability practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Terraform, and infrastructure as code.
• Strong CI/CD expertise with tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
• Solid understanding of monitoring and logging tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Security-first mindset with experience in automating security controls in pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Improve Kubernetes-based deployments with Terraform, Helm, and GitOps practices.
• Own observability practices including logging, metrics, and alerting.
• Drive reliability practices such as SLOs and incident response.
• Automate security and compliance in the software delivery lifecycle.
• Collaborate with various teams to enhance development and deployment cycles.

Skills

• Experience with SRE practices, data engineering, and AI workloads is advantageous.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and policy-as-code tools is a plus.

Education

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.

Tools

• Experience with GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
