Senior Development Engineer

Job summary

This role involves contributing to the development of modular low-voltage switchboard systems, including mechanical structures and busbar systems, within a skilled R&D team. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to create robust solutions that meet customer needs globally.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in technical product development, particularly in industrial products, with a track record of driving projects from concept to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop components and systems for low-voltage switchboard solutions.
• Maintain and enhance the existing product portfolio.
• Create solutions tailored to specific customer requirements and market demands.
• Validate designs for mechanical structures and busbar systems, ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards.
• Participate in cross-functional development projects and act as a technical specialist in selected areas.

Skills

• Strong experience with 3D CAD design tools.
• Familiarity with low-voltage switchboard systems or related power distribution products is advantageous.
• Knowledge of compliance standards such as IEC, UL, or DNV is preferred.

Education

• A relevant technical degree is required.
