Senior Design Consultant (Industrial Design, Copenhagen or Hadsund)

Job summary

This part-time position involves contributing to customer-centric product and solution innovation within a design team, focusing on industrial design principles and high-quality design solutions for professional cleaning products.

Qualifications

• Senior industrial designer or design consultant with extensive product development experience
• Strong conceptual thinking, sketching, and form development abilities
• Experience in complex, technical, or industrial environments
• Effective communicator with the ability to engage multidisciplinary and international teams

Responsibilities

• Lead industrial design from concept to production while adhering to brand and design guidelines
• Develop aesthetically pleasing and user-focused solutions with an emphasis on durability and sustainability
• Create sketches, form studies, prototypes, and 3D CAD models (SolidWorks preferred)
• Collaborate on mechanical, digital, and hybrid interfaces to ensure intuitive user interactions
• Clearly communicate design intent across various teams and suppliers
• Assist in testing, prototyping, and quality validation alongside engineering
• Stay informed on design trends and competitor insights in industrial and related markets

Skills

• Proficiency in 3D CAD and prototyping tools (SolidWorks preferred; experience with Rhino, Creo is a plus)
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and rendering tools (KeyShot is advantageous)
• Experience in physical prototyping using materials like foam and paper

Education

• Relevant degree in industrial design or a related field is preferred.
