Senior Data Engineer (Copenhagen)

Job summary

The role involves working closely with Product Managers and Tech Leads in the Parcels product domain to design and maintain data pipelines and warehouse architecture for logistics and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Experience with operational, inventory, or supply-chain data systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with knowledge of AWS Redshift.
• Familiarity with Airflow, dbt, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
• Experience with DataOps, GitOps, and CI/CD tools.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain real-time and batch data pipelines for logistics and inventory management.
• Drive automation of data solutions to support supply chain features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate operational needs into technical requirements.
• Ensure high data availability and governance across workflows.

Skills

• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with data orchestration tools like Airflow.
• Knowledge of data warehouse internals, preferably AWS Redshift.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in data engineering or a related field.
