Senior Cyber Security Architect

Job summary

The role involves defining and maintaining the security architecture for technology and AI platforms within a leading biotech organization. The position requires collaboration with various technical teams to ensure security principles are consistently applied across cloud, M365, and application development.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in security architecture or a senior technical security role, preferably in a cloud-first environment.
• Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview, including data classification, sensitivity labeling, DLP policies, and information protection across M365.
• Strong skills in cloud security architecture, particularly with Microsoft Azure/M365 security tooling.
• Knowledge of AI platform security, including guardrails for large language model deployments and agentic AI architectures.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as ISO, NIST CSF, and MITRE ATT&CK.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain security architecture principles and standards, guiding technical teams in their application.
• Own the security configuration and architecture of Microsoft Purview, driving organization-wide adoption.
• Lead the security architecture for Claude Enterprise and the agentic AI landscape, defining secure deployment practices.
• Embed security into the Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) by defining security gates and reviewing new system architectures.
• Contribute to identity and access management decisions, advising on security principles.
• Act as a technical advisor on AI security, addressing risks and governance of AI-generated content.
• Collaborate on detection architecture and security tooling decisions with the Cyber Security Specialist in SecOps.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.
