Senior Applications Engineer (Remote, Denmark)

Job summary

This role involves a variety of technical activities related to applications engineering and customer support within a sales engineering team. The position focuses on product development, technical analysis, and systems integration, requiring close collaboration with customers and internal engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency with testing instruments such as spectrum analyzers and multimeters.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols and networking.
• Experience with IP radios/modems and wireless communication systems.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design and test solutions for unique technical challenges.
• Define and evaluate new products and features.
• Provide technical support to customers and sales teams via various communication methods.
• Offer live support during standard European working hours.
• Collaborate with engineering teams for field testing and validation.
• Create and maintain customer-facing documentation.
• Assist with RMA and loaner processes.
• Travel up to 25% for in-person support and training.

Skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and initiative.
• Familiarity with Linux and programming languages like Python or C/C++ is preferred.
