Senior AI Platform Engineer

Job summary

The role involves building a foundational platform for data and AI systems, enabling efficient operation and management of agentic systems at scale. The focus is on creating reusable capabilities that streamline engineering processes and enhance productivity.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in shipping agentic systems used by real users.
• Familiarity with production engineering and navigating unfamiliar systems.
• Experience with technologies such as MCP, orchestration, Kubernetes, and distributed systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee platform capabilities from design to production, ensuring reliability, security, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Utilize an agent fleet to explore repositories, implement solutions, and conduct investigations.
• Review agent output through code evaluations, tests, and benchmarks, improving workflows as necessary.
• Collaborate with domain teams to address recurring challenges and develop reusable tools.
• Contribute to technical direction by assessing alternatives and making informed decisions.
• Mentor less experienced engineers through pairing and code reviews.
• Share best engineering practices within the team.

Skills

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with ambiguous tasks.
• Experience in evaluating and adopting new AI developments and open-source contributions.

Education

• Relevant technical degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Tools

• Familiarity with LangGraph, Temporal, Dify, AWS, Foundry, Databricks, and open-source components.
