Senior AI Engineer

Job summary

The Senior AI Engineer will be instrumental in the operation and evolution of the Claude platform, enabling agentic AI within the organization. This role involves close collaboration with various teams to develop and implement solutions that integrate AI with enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in designing, building, and managing platforms or shared services in a production environment, including user support and enterprise system integrations.
• Strong understanding of agentic AI systems, including orchestration, tool calling, and evaluation methods.
• Proficiency in software and platform engineering practices, with solid skills in Python; .NET experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with cloud-native services, container workflows, and secure data access patterns; Azure experience is a plus.
• Experience in the BioPharma industry or knowledge of GxP processes is beneficial; front-end development experience, particularly with React, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and enhance the Claude platform, ensuring technical support and monitoring.
• Design and maintain developer platform capabilities for agentic AI, including model access and shared tooling.
• Create and manage connectors that facilitate secure access to enterprise systems and data.
• Provide resources such as SDKs and documentation for teams utilizing the platform.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify needs and develop use cases that demonstrate platform value.
• Work with Cloud Infrastructure and Cyber Security teams to ensure secure solutions and mentor colleagues.

Education

• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience with Python, .NET, Azure, and relevant AI and data integration tools.
