Job summary

This role involves providing expertise in financial crime compliance, particularly in handling escalated name screening alerts related to PEP, Adverse Media, and Sanctions. The analyst will conduct risk assessments and offer actionable advice to stakeholders regarding compliance risks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial crime or sanctions compliance.
• Understanding of banking operations, processes, and systems.
• Experience in startup or fintech environments is advantageous.
• A university degree is required.
• ACAMS or ACFCS certification is a plus.
• Strong analytical and writing abilities, along with sound judgment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to explain complex concepts.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks.
• Confidence and a results-driven mindset with a focus on innovative solutions.
• Experience in managing stakeholder relationships is beneficial.
