Sattline Application Specialist (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Hvidovre)

Job summary

The role involves serving as the primary Sattline application specialist at a pharmaceutical manufacturing site, focusing on automation and digitalization. Responsibilities include ensuring stable production through the development and maintenance of the application layer in operational technology (OT) systems, while also contributing to future digital initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in developing and troubleshooting Sattline application code, including batch logic, alarms, and sequencing in a regulated environment.
• Hands-on experience with Sattline or similar DCS/SCADA platforms (e.g., PROCOS, DeltaV, ABB 800xA), including configuration and application programming.
• Familiarity with translating process changes into compliant control solutions, ensuring proper testing and documentation.
• Experience in a GMP-regulated industry (pharmaceutical, chemical, or food).
• A relevant technical degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze batch execution and process logic to troubleshoot production issues.
• Identify root causes of process deviations within the Sattline application code.
• Develop, implement, and test code changes to support process improvements and optimizations.
• Lead or participate in automation, digitalization, and process optimization initiatives, ensuring compliance with GMP and validation requirements.
• Contribute to system lifecycle management and business-critical projects, including upgrades and continuous improvement of the control system landscape.
