About the role

Job summary

The role involves taking ownership of the analysis and requirements workstream for Salesforce projects, ensuring clarity and alignment with business needs throughout the project lifecycle. The Business Analyst will actively engage in all stages from requirements gathering to delivery, identifying and addressing potential issues early on.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Proven experience managing Salesforce projects, including customization and configuration.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, with experience in Scrum or Kanban.
  • Agile Certification is preferred.
  • Exceptional knowledge of JIRA ticketing processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex requirements.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Business Analyst) are highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC) and experience working with development teams.
  • Experience in the SaaS industry and knowledge of customer review platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own the analysis and requirements workstream for Salesforce initiatives, driving projects from kick-off to delivery.
  • Manage work across the full product lifecycle, ensuring active engagement at every stage.
  • Identify and escalate scope ambiguities, blockers, and delivery risks early.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Salesforce capabilities, assessing feasibility and writing acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct analysis of existing business processes to identify gaps and optimization opportunities.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders across various departments to understand priorities.
  • Produce structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
  • Contribute to data governance standards and design reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
  • Maintain and groom the backlog with delivery teams, ensuring user stories are ready for sprints.

Education

  • Relevant certifications in Salesforce and Agile methodologies are preferred.
