Job summary

This position involves working on human modeling and physical human-robot interaction within the field of robotics. The role is based at the main campus in Odense, Denmark, and is not remote. The successful candidate will contribute to the SENSIBLE project, focusing on developing an AI-powered teleoperation robotic system for offshore wind turbine maintenance.

Qualifications

  • A master's degree in Robotics or a related field is required by the time of employment.
  • Strong knowledge in numerical analysis, human modeling, and physical human-robot interaction.
  • Experience with biomechanical modeling tools and scientific writing is preferred.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • High self-motivation and ability to work independently and in interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of a framework for ergonomics and safety in human-robot interaction.
  • Personalize a musculoskeletal arm model and a human motor controller.
  • Integrate human models into the physical human-robot interaction framework.

Skills

  • Proficiency in numerical analysis and human modeling.
  • Familiarity with biomechanical modeling tools.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Education

  • A master's degree in Robotics or a similar discipline is mandatory.

Tools

  • Experience with relevant modeling and simulation software is beneficial.
