Regional Tax Manager (Industrial, Copenhagen/Brno)

Job summary

This role involves leading tax compliance and advisory efforts across Europe for a newly established industrial business. The position is critical during a transformation phase, focusing on creating scalable and compliant tax processes in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (MBA) preferred but not mandatory.
• Over 7 years of progressive experience in corporate income tax and transfer pricing.
• More than 5 years of experience managing VAT compliance.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and statutory requirements across various jurisdictions.
• Proven experience in managing tax activities in the EMEA region.
• Experience in private-equity settings, carve-outs, or complex multinational transformations.

Responsibilities

• Review and coordinate corporate income tax and VAT filings across multiple European jurisdictions.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and global tax policies.
• Maintain European transfer pricing documentation in accordance with OECD guidelines.
• Proactively identify and mitigate tax risks in a transformation-focused environment.
• Lead European tax audits and manage inquiries from tax authorities.
• Collaborate with regional Finance teams and external advisors to provide tax guidance and training.
• Drive process improvements for tax compliance and reporting efficiency.
