About the role

Job summary

This internship offers an opportunity for penultimate or final-year students pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree in a quantitative field to gain hands-on experience in quantitative research and trading within a systematic investment management context. The internship lasts 4–6 months, starting in 2027, and is available in multiple locations including Aarhus, Budapest, Dubai, Geneva, London, Paris, and Zurich.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an advanced degree program in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on mathematics, statistics, and computation.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, C++, or C#.
  • Familiarity with statistics, machine learning, NLP, or AI techniques is beneficial but not required.
  • Experience with large datasets and quantitative analysis is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across disciplines.
  • Effective communication skills, particularly in explaining technical concepts.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Develop predictive signals from diverse datasets and conduct iterative research to validate findings.
  • Collaborate with systematic trading teams to deploy research findings in live trading environments.
  • Monitor signal performance, enhance execution efficiency, and manage associated risks.
  • Engage in problem-solving and contribute to the overall research process from hypothesis to implementation.
