About the role

Job summary

The role involves overseeing quality surveillance and inspection of wind turbine generators and components before their load-out and offshore installation. The position requires conducting final and storage inspections, as well as verifying workmanship and punch-list statuses prior to mobilization offshore.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Quality Surveillance, QA/QC, or Quality Inspection.
  • Familiarity with wind turbine generators and components, preferably in offshore wind.
  • Experience with final inspections, punch lists, and non-conformities.
  • Strong reporting and communication skills.
  • Background in pre-installation, port, or manufacturing environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Working hours

  • Attend final inspections of wind turbine generators before load-out.
  • Independently verify the condition of components and their workmanship.
  • Conduct targeted inspections based on project progress and quality risks.
  • Perform weekly inspections of stored nacelles, tower sections, and other components.
  • Monitor contractor progress and health, safety, and environmental status on site.
  • Identify and document quality issues and follow up on non-conformities.
  • Report findings and participate in pre-installation quality meetings.
  • The position follows a schedule of 5 days a week, 8 hours per day, with potential ramp-up to 7 days a week, 8 hours per day.
