Project Officer (Data Platform Management, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves overseeing the end-to-end Data Platform, specifically utilizing Azure Databricks, to ensure the delivery of scalable and secure data services aligned with organizational strategies. The position requires managing data pipelines, integration, and governance to enhance data quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in software engineering, computer science, business administration, or a related social science field is required. Candidates with a Master's degree are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as Product Owner for the Azure Databricks platform, managing architecture, cost optimization, and operational health.
• Own the lifecycle of data pipelines, ensuring reliability, observability, and efficiency.
• Define and maintain enterprise data architecture and integration patterns.
• Implement and evolve data governance and cataloging using Microsoft Purview.
• Establish data quality controls and automated validation rules.
• Manage the data platform backlog and ensure Agile practices are followed.
• Serve as a liaison between business and engineering teams to translate needs into data solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all platform components.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of data architecture, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance.
• Proficiency in Azure Databricks and related data management tools.
• Experience with Agile Project Management and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree preferred.
