Job summary

The Procurement Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting procurement operations, demand planning, and supplier management within the organization. This position focuses on ensuring reliable supply and optimal stock levels while collaborating with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Experience in procurement, operational purchasing, demand planning, stock control, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong understanding of forecasting, inventory management, and supply planning processes.
  • Proficient in data analysis, forecasts, and inventory reporting.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with SAP is a significant advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience in a regulated environment is beneficial.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Danish and/or German is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across cultures.
  • Organized, proactive, and quality-focused approach to work.

Responsibilities

  • Support demand forecasting, planning, and inventory management.
  • Conduct stock analysis and monitor inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams for timely deliveries and efficient replenishment.
  • Report on and improve supply planning activities.
  • Manage supplier administration and procurement documentation.
  • Maintain supplier master data and Approved Supplier Lists (ASL).
  • Assist in supplier qualification and complaint handling.
  • Oversee operational purchasing activities and customer-specific orders.
  • Support ESG and supplier risk assessments.

  • Strong analytical mindset with data handling capabilities.

  • Detail-oriented with a structured approach to procurement tasks.

Education

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in procurement or supply chain management.

Tools
