Job summary

The role of Principal Software Engineer involves being the most senior technical contributor, working fully remote within Europe. This position focuses on shaping platform architecture, mentoring engineers, and addressing complex technical challenges across teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Senior, Lead, or Principal Software Engineer.
• Proven track record of delivering complex, production-grade systems.
• Deep technical capability and current knowledge in relevant technologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with outcome teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Pilot new tools and practices through real production work.
• Facilitate architecture discussions involving stakeholders.
• Partner with leadership to evolve web and mobile platforms using technologies like Vue 3, Node.js, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Establish shared technical standards and document architectural decisions.
• Mentor Senior and Lead Engineers through collaboration and feedback.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and performance issues.

Skills

• Strong technical judgment and architectural skills.
• Ability to mentor and guide engineers effectively.
• Experience with AI-assisted development practices.

Education

• Relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
