Principal QA Engineer (Fintech)

Job summary

This role involves joining an application development team focused on enhancing a cloud-native SaaS product. The Principal QA Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality assurance of the new version of the Digital Engagement Platform (DEP), which aims to support large financial clients.

Qualifications

• Experience with test automation and methodologies, including TDD and Agile testing.
• Proficiency in automated UI and API testing, as well as data-driven testing.
• Familiarity with C#, .NET, and Microsoft Azure.
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with agile development teams to understand customer requirements and implement automated tests.
• Focus on enhancing test management processes and strategies.
• Conduct manual testing as needed while working towards increasing test automation.
• Contribute to the overall improvement of the product and its related processes.

Skills

• Automated testing tools (Selenium/Cypress, XUnit/NUnit, RestSharp).
• Continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) practices.
• Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes and Azure DevOps is a plus.

Education

• Relevant experience in software testing and quality assurance.

Tools

• .NET, Data Build Tool (dbt), TypeScript, Microsoft Azure.
