Job summary

This senior role involves taking ownership of data sourcing, structuring, and utilization across compliance reporting services and related solutions. The position requires defining the direction for data architecture and driving implementation while building a central data foundation for reporting.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in data architecture and data modeling.
• Strong understanding of data sourcing, integration patterns, and reporting requirements.
• Proven ability to design simple, consistent, and reusable data structures.
• Hands-on experience transitioning from design to development and implementation.
• Comfortable collaborating across teams and setting strategic direction.

Responsibilities

• Manage data sourcing and integration for reporting solutions.
• Design and maintain core domain data models for reporting.
• Develop and enhance the central data foundation, including event-driven and batch sourcing.
• Define data structure, documentation, and accessibility for reporting and analytics.
• Ensure data consistency, reusability, and governance across solutions.
• Implement validation and controls for data quality and traceability.
• Provide guidance to development teams on effective data usage.
• Document data models, flows, and dependencies comprehensively.
• Collaborate with architects and upstream data/platform teams for alignment on data sourcing and distribution.

Skills

• Strong architectural and hands-on skills in data management.
• Ability to create simple, reusable structures that enhance reporting efficiency.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Tools

• Familiarity with modern data platforms and technologies such as Apache Kafka, Snowflake, and Databricks.
• Experience with containerized solutions (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud environments.
