Principal Demand Planner (Healthcare, Remote)

Job summary

The Principal Demand Planner is tasked with overseeing all regional demand planning activities for a healthcare business unit focused on fertility and women's health. This role involves developing a high-quality, unconstrained consensus demand plan and managing processes that facilitate the ongoing refinement of demand forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive demand plan that aligns with business objectives.
• Manage inputs and processes to continually refine demand forecasts.
• Contribute to monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) processes.
• Serve as the trusted authority on demand signals across a rolling 24-month horizon.
• Ensure alignment of plans while minimizing bias from various stakeholders and data sources.
• Support the S&OP process to enhance customer satisfaction while optimizing costs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in demand planning or related fields, preferably within the healthcare sector.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.

Skills

• Proficiency in demand planning software and tools.
• Strong understanding of S&OP and S&OE processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Tools

• Familiarity with demand planning and forecasting tools, as well as data analysis software.
