Qualifications

  • Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct biological conversion of CO2 to acetic acid using various reactor systems.
  • Characterize microbial kinetics involved in the fermentation process.
  • Communicate research findings to academic and industrial stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal and external project colleagues.
  • Supervise BEng, BSc, and MSc students and organize related coursework.
  • Prepare and submit manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals and research applications.

Skills

  • Knowledge of gas fermentation technology.
  • Ability to maintain organized laboratory conditions.
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently and in teams.

Education

  • A PhD degree in a relevant field is required.

Tools
