Qualifications

• PhD degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
• Experience with anaerobic microbial cultures and bioreactor operations.
• Documented expertise in gas fermentation through publications or PhD thesis.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biological conversion of CO2 to acetic acid using various reactor systems.
• Characterize microbial kinetics involved in the fermentation process.
• Communicate research findings to academic and industrial stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal and external project colleagues.
• Supervise BEng, BSc, and MSc students and organize related coursework.
• Prepare and submit manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals and research applications.
