Job summary

This position involves developing a deep learning-based image analysis framework for real-time monitoring of concrete production using hyperspectral imaging data. The role is part of a project aimed at enhancing the quality control and performance assessment of concrete materials.

Qualifications

  • PhD degree (or equivalent) in deep learning, big data, computer vision, or related fields.
  • Experience in in-line process monitoring or similar areas.
  • Competence in concrete characterization and experimental research is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and optimize deep learning models for quality control in concrete production.
  • Develop predictive algorithms using hyperspectral imaging to assess material properties.
  • Create a graphical user interface for non-expert users.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and disseminate research findings through publications and conferences.
  • Engage in teaching and supervising PhD and MSc student projects as appropriate.

Skills
