PLM Application Specialist

Job summary

The role involves managing and developing PLM applications to support R&D and enhance the configure-to-order process. The specialist will work closely with the IT Director and collaborate with engineering teams to optimize digital setups and product data models.

Qualifications

• Experience as a PLM Business Solution Architect or PLM Consultant, preferably in discrete manufacturing.
• Familiarity with Configure-to-Order strategies or ability to quickly learn.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain PLM applications within the organization.
• Identify and implement improvements to optimize business processes.
• Coordinate customization and configuration of PLM applications with suppliers.
• Ensure stable solution architecture and integrations with other applications.
• Provide in-house 2nd level support for PLM applications.
• Collaborate with application suppliers and stakeholders.
• Contribute to IT and Digitalization strategy.
• Lead or support IT and Digitalization projects.
• Assist in assessing and reducing IT security risks.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in IT or engineering fields.

Tools

• Experience with CAD, PDM, and Design Automation applications.
