PLM Application Specialist (Engineering, Remote)

Job summary

The role involves managing and developing PLM applications to support R&D in creating sustainable climate solutions. The specialist will participate in optimizing digital setups and support configure-to-order processes, ensuring efficient integration of product data models with applications.

Qualifications

• Experience as a PLM Business Solution Architect or PLM Consultant, preferably in discrete manufacturing.
• Familiarity with Configure-to-Order strategies or ability to learn quickly.
• Structured, goal-oriented, and action-driven personality.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain PLM applications within the organization.
• Identify and implement improvements to optimize business processes related to PLM.
• Coordinate customization and configuration of PLM applications with suppliers.
• Ensure stable solution architecture and integration with other applications.
• Provide in-house 2nd level support for PLM applications.
• Collaborate with application suppliers and stakeholders.
• Contribute to IT and Digitalization strategy.
• Lead or support IT and Digitalization projects.
• Assist in assessing and mitigating IT security risks.

Skills

• Strong problem-solving and solution design skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks in a dynamic environment.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in IT, Engineering, or related fields.

Tools

• Familiarity with CAD, Electrical Drawings, PDM, Design Automation, and ERP systems.
